Who we are

Ruby Red Hospitality is the guest-facing name of Perspective Hospitality Management Services, Inc., a Texas hospitality company headquartered at 7010 Padre Boulevard, South Padre Island, Texas 78597. The phone number for the corporate office is (956) 772-3605.

The family behind the company has more than 35 years of hotel development and operations experience in Texas. We do the whole job ourselves: finding the land, building the hotel, opening it, and running it day to day. That includes the restaurants and bars inside our hotels and a few that stand on their own.

Most of our properties are in two places. South Padre Island is a barrier island on the Gulf coast at the southern tip of Texas, where we run beach resorts, a vacation rental company and several beach bars. McAllen is the largest city in the Rio Grande Valley, about an hour and a half inland, where our hotels sit in the Convention Center District and along Ware Road. We also operate in Round Rock, just north of Austin.

How we run a hotel

The grapefruit is where the name comes from. The Rio Grande Valley is known for its red grapefruit.

We pay attention to the small physical things guests notice without thinking about it: the softness of the carpet, the texture of the walls, the weight of the linens and towels. Our boutique hotels on South Padre Island, La Copa Inn Beach Hotel and Sand Rose Beach Resort, stock curated toiletries in every room. Lobbies and restaurants have signature scents and their own music playlists, which we publish on Spotify.

From the moment a reservation is booked, our team is in touch with the guest. We answer requests quickly and ask for feedback so we can keep improving. Every team member can use the resources of the property to make a guest's stay right.
